ALERT: As part of the 2030 Climate Action Plan - a plan that is intent upon ceasing Gas power in new buildings throughout our county, the County is hosting two in-person community open houses on the 2030 Climate Action Plan (CAP) on March 1st. The events will be held in Santa Barbara, Santa Maria and online on March 7th.

Santa Barbara will be will be held at the Faulkner Gallery in the Santa Barbara Public Library from 12:30-2:00. Click here to register.

What are the unintended consequences of pushing all electric houses? Cost to build? Cost to live in? Is the grid capable of all this electricity? Who will hold the plug, the State or private enterprises?
